Is the free plan really free?

Yes. No credit card, no trial timer. Unlimited cards on up to three projects, real-time updates, and public read-only sharing, forever.

Can I get my data out?

Every project exports as JSON with the full board - columns, cards, descriptions, comments, metadata - or as CSV, one row per card. Both are in the project menu, on every plan.

Do I need to set anything up first?

No. A new board arrives with To Do, In Progress and Done already in place. Rename them, reorder them, colour them, or add your own.

Can I cancel any time?

Two clicks on the billing page. Pro features run to the end of the period you already paid for, then you drop back to Free. Your projects stay visible and exportable.
